A LITTLE ABOUT US

We’re Robert and Matthias, two friends who love good food.

We’ve always been into finding great ingredients, trying new things and, most importantly, eating them. We’re especially drawn to food that’s made properly, with good ingredients and a bit of tradition behind it.

That’s what got us into tinned fish.

We fell down the rabbit hole of conservas and started discovering amazing tins from small producers across Spain, Portugal and beyond. The more we tried, the more we wanted to share them.

So we started The Secret Pantry.

Everything we stock is something we genuinely like and would happily eat ourselves. We’re always looking for new producers, great tins and interesting things to add to the collection.
