Whole duck foie gras from South-West France, IGP-certified, is a renowned French delicacy, prized for its exceptional quality and flavour.
Made from free-range ducks fed on a grain-based diet, this foie gras has a wonderfully delicate, refined taste. Its smooth, melt-in-the-mouth texture and subtle flavour make it a true classic of French gastronomy.
The IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) certification guarantees its regional origin and traditional production methods.
Serving advice: Keep in a cool place. Around 30 minutes before serving, run the jar under warm water for 30 seconds, then open it by pulling on the rubber tab.
Use a smooth-bladed knife, warmed under hot water, to remove the foie gras from the jar. Do not remove all of the fat, as it adds extra flavour. Slice the foie gras and allow it to rest at room temperature for around 20 minutes before serving.
Enjoy it on toasted bread, or simply with a fork and a few grains of coarse Guérande sea salt.
